Love, In Passing

This documentary project centers on couples I meet throughout Central Park—people from different cities, countries, ages, and stages of life who briefly share the same changing landscape. By asking their names, where they are from, how they met, and what brought them to New York, I use simple questions to explore how love forms, travels, and settles in a city defined by movement. Central Park becomes more than a backdrop; it is a crossroad where tourists, locals, new lovers, and long-term partners occupy the same public space while carrying distinct private histories. Together, these portraits form a visual archive of connection across cultures, generations, and distances, revealing love as both universal and deeply individual. By documenting these fleeting intersections in Central Park, I hope to show how love continues to gather, persist, and evolve, no matter where it comes from or where it is headed.
